I have a lot of requests for more information on the ravel 2BX.
The ravel 2BX is my accordion of choice for playing ceilidhs. I have one with hand made reeds in it which I love and It's fantastic for playing a Scottish ceilidh. I can stand upright playing with it for hours no problem. It's not heavy and it's effortless to play. I also use Italcinte straps, the wide velvet ones type 304a, they are comfortable as the wider straps distribute any weight better and I don't have any back problems when I come home after a long night on the squeeze.
I finished preparing a demo video of the Ravel 2BX with the hand made reeds. I hope it comes across well. Listening to the audio it really comes down to your speakers that you are listening through, they will dictate the quality of the sound as well as my modest attempt and being an audio video engineer. The accordion will speak for itself when you play it. If you are looking for a small accordion with 34 keys, 96 basses, look no further. You've found it.
